Joaquín Ayuso García
A Civil Engineer, he was born in 1955. He joined Ferrovial in 1982 and became the Managing Director of the Construction Area in 1992. Between 1999 and January 2002, he served as the CEO of Ferrovial Agromán.
José Mª Pérez Tremps
Born in 1952, he is a Council of State Lawyer and a Member of the State Senior Civil Service. He joined Ferrovial in 1990 as the General Secretary, and since 1992 he has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Group’s parent company.
Íñigo Meirás Amusco
Born in 1963, he holds a Degree in Law and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa Business School. He came to Ferrovial in 1992 and was the Managing Director of Autopista del Sol and Director of Highways at Cintra until November 2000. He served as the Managing Director of the Services Area until 10 May 2007.
Enrique Díaz-Rato
Born in 1958, he is a Civil Engineer and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and an MBA from the EOI Business School. He joined Ferrovial in 2001 as the General Manager of Cintra Chile. In 2003, he was appointed General Manager of the 407 Express Toll Route in Toronto (Canada), and in April 2006 he became the Director of Highways for the United States, Canada, Chile and Ireland, until July 2006, when he was appointed CEO of Cintra.
Santiago Olivares
Born in 1967, he holds an Industrial Engineering Degree from ICAI and an MBA from MIT. He joined Ferrovial in 2002 as the Business Development Director for the Group’s Services Division. He later became the Director of the division’s International Area, a position that he continues to combine today with his duties as the CEO of Swissport. Since May 2007, he has been Head of Ferrovial’s Services Division.
Alejandro de la Joya
A Civil Engineer, born in 1969. He joined Ferrovial in 1991 and since then he has worked as a Regional Director in Madrid, Castile-Leon, Morocco, Italy and Portugal, later going on to assume the company’s management in Poland. In 2005, he was appointed Foreign Director, and in 2007 he became Head of International Construction.
Álvaro Echániz Urcelay
Born in 1960 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies. He joined Ferrovial with the takeover of Agromán, where he had served the office of Chief Financial Officer. Between 1999 and September 2002, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Cintra, and has served as the CEO of Ferrovial’s Real Estate Division since December 2006.
Federico Flórez
Born in 1949, Mr. Flórez is a Naval Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and IT Management (IESE Business School Senior Company Management Program). He has also completed the Advanced Management Program at the INSEAD Executive Education School and holds diplomas for different high management courses given at Harvard, MIT and Cranfield. Throughout his career, he has worked for companies such as IBM, Alcatel and Telefónica, and until recently served as CIO at the Banco de España (Bank of Spain).
Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer y Moreno
Born in 1951, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Business Administration (ICADE-ICAI in Madrid). He joined Ferrovial in 2000.
Nicolás Villén Jiménez
Born in 1949, he is an Industrial Engineer with an MBA from Columbia University and a Master of Science from the University of Florida. He joined Ferrovial in 1993.
